Job summary

Avensys Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Python Full Stack Developer to design and implement scalable backend services and modern front-end features. The role emphasizes Python-based development with frameworks such as FastAPI, Django or Flask, and requires strong REST API capabilities and database design.

You will work in a collaborative team, contribute to DevOps practices, ensure secure coding standards, and participate in performance optimization and code reviews to deliver

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related discipline.
• At least seven (7) years of relevant software development experience with full-stack web apps.
• Strong Python backend development experience using FastAPI, Django or Flask.
• Strong REST API development and integration with enterprise/third-party systems.
• Experience with relational databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server or equivalent.
• Experience with architecture, coding standards, source-control, testing and performance optimization.
• Experience with application security, including OWASP principles.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD, Git-based source control and deployment pipelines.

Preferred

• A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least seven (7) years of relevant software development experience, including substantial practical experience in full-stack web application development.
• Strong practical experience in Python-based backend development using one or more established Python frameworks, such as Fast API, Django or Flask.
• Strong experience in REST API development, API integration, authentication, authorization and integration with enterprise and third-party systems.
• Strong experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server or equivalent database technologies, including database design, SQL development and performance optimization.
• Experience with software architecture, application design, coding standards, source-code management, code review, automated testing, troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Experience with application security, including secure coding practices, access control, authentication and authorization, vulnerability remediation and relevant OWASP principles.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices, including Git-based source control, automated build and deployment pipelines, environment management and application release processes.
