Operate and maintain mainly on purified water and wastewater systems, ensuring uninterrupted production and optimal efficiency. Job Responsibilities

1. Operate and maintain purified water, wastewater systems, and raw water supply used in manufacturing to ensure continuous and efficient production.
2. Monitor system performance and parameters regularly, making adjustments for optimal efficiency.
3. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to prevent downtime and equipment failures.
4. Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs promptly to minimize disruptions.
5. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
6. Maintain accurate logs of operations, maintenance, and incidents for compliance and reference.
7. Coordinate with team members and departments on maintenance schedules and production needs.
8. Respond quickly to emergencies such as leaks or pressure issues.
9. Seek opportunities to improve operations, reduce consumption, and optimize processes.
10. Follow and liaise with DOE/DOSH regarding licensing, compliance, and updates.
11. Perform any other duties assigned by superiors.

Qualifications

• Technical certificate or diploma in Engineering or relevant field.
• Preferably 3 years of experience in water/wastewater operations and maintenance.
• Strong technical knowledge and safety awareness.
• Effective problem-solving, analytical skills, attention to detail, and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in English and Malay.
