Job summary

Euro Chemo-Pharma Sdn Bhd is looking for a Purchasing Executive to support purchasing and customs operations. This role involves managing purchase orders, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Candidates should have relevant educational qualifications and a positive attitude toward learning and teamwork. The position will initially be based in Shah Alam and relocate to Sunway Square by the end of 2025.

Job description

• Compare and evaluate offers from Suppliers.

• Track orders and ensure timely delivery.

• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.

• Review quality of purchased products.

• Prepare and process purchase orders and all related documents according to the order request, delivery/incoming shipment follow-up, and other requirements.

• Liaise with Suppliers on quotations, samples, inventory review, orders, and stock planning.

• Coordinate with import forwarders on incoming shipments, invoicing, pricing, etc.

• Handle Import/Export Permits, Sales Tax Exemption, and customs-related issues.

• Undertake any ad-hoc tasks or assignments as required by superiors.

*This position will be based in Shah Alam initially, relocating to Sunway Square, Bandar Sunway by end of 2025.

Job Requirements:

• Possess at least a Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Purchasing, or equivalent.

• Preferably 1-3 years of experience in Purchasing and Customs affairs or related fields.

• Proficiency in JD Edwards and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is an advantage.

• Positive attitude, initiative, willingness to learn, problem-solving skills, and good teamwork.

• Effective communication skills within the company.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage expectations.

• Well-organized with attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently.

• Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia.
