Job: Purchasing & Administrative Executive
Vacancy: Purchasing & Administrative Executive
Working Hours: Mon-Fri: 830am-600pm
Responsibilities:
- Assist in sourcing high-quality baby, kids and mothers related categories products.
- Liaise with existing suppliers and establish relationships with new suppliers to ensure a steady supply of goods. Coordinate with suppliers on order fulfilment, quality control, and any issues related to product defects or delays.
- Assist in placing purchase orders based on stock levels and sales forecasts to ensure sufficient product availability.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize procurement costs and maintain profitability.
- Monitor and track order deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods, minimizing stock shortages.
- Work with the warehouse team to ensure accurate inventory records are maintained.
- Research new products and trends in the baby retail industry to expand the store’s product range.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchasing records, including purchase orders, supplier contracts, and delivery schedules.
- Work closely with the operation, marketing, and logistics teams to ensure the smooth flow of products from suppliers to shelves.
- Assist in any trade fair/ exhibition in terms of operations such as setting up, dismantling, managing stocks and liaise with suppliers, and working during the trade fair/exhibition period.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in a retail or baby product environment.
- Familiarity with purchasing procedures, vendor management, and negotiation.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for managing orders, contracts, and inventory levels.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and support cross-departmental initiatives.
