Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

  1. Verify Purchasing Order
  2. Daily issue PO upon requirement
  3. Daily update for purchase DO and invoices
  4. Sourcing of sub-material, maintenance machinery parts, office equipment & facilities.
  5. Negotiate on prices, credit terms, discounts, and delivery arrangements.
  6. Maintain proper records of purchases, quotations/sources, and suppliers’ information.
  7. Ensure timely delivery of goods from supplier to support manufacturing processes.
  8. Maintain the approved vendor database up to date.
  9. Follow up and control the sub-material borrow and return from inter company.
  10. Review vendor’s performance yearly.
  11. Sourcing for new supplier and negotiation whenever necessary
  12. Maintain all purchasing documents in a proper way.
  13. Prepare purchase month-end report.
  14. Highlight price variance or charges to management whenever necessary.

JOB REQUIREMENT

  1. Able to work at Nibong Tebal
  2. Diploma or higher in Business Studies/Administration/Management or related field (Fresh graduate).
  3. 1-2 years working experience in a similar capacity.
  4. Able to communicate well in English, Mandarin (Compulsory) and Malay.
  5. Able to manage people for peak performance.
  6. Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  7. Able to work Mon - Friday and Alternate Saturdays
