Job description

Responsibilities:

1. To liaise with the production department to formulate material procurement plan according to the production plan and inventory level to ensure production continuity.
2. Execute the whole purchasing process, use SAP system to enter data, track the progress of order delivery, deal with expedited orders, monitor suppliers' on-time delivery rate, and co-ordinate with production and logistics departments to deal with the risk of delays.
3. Conduct market research, search for suitable suppliers according to the company's needs, develop and manage suppliers, and maintain supplier relationships.
4. Implement price comparison and bargaining mechanism, analyse the procurement cost structure, and participate in or lead the negotiation and bargaining.
5. Monitor the inventory turnover days, cooperate with the warehouse department to deal with the sluggish materials and waste recycling.
6. Participate in new material sampling confirmation, liaise with QC department to perform incoming material inspection, handle quality disputes and return claims.
7. Regularly output purchasing reports and promote the standardisation of purchasing process.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor degree or above, major is not limited.
2. 2 years of procurement experience in manufacturing industry, familiar with the procurement process of machining, injection moulding, electronic components and other categories.
3. Skilled in using SAP system, skilled in using Excel for data processing and analysis.
4. Understanding of cost dismantling, concession strategy and other negotiation skills, experience in signing procurement contracts independently is preferred.
5. have a strong sense of responsibility and pressure resistance, positive and proactive work attitude, hard-working.
6. good communication and coordination skills, flexible and principled, with a certain degree of negotiation ability.
