We are expanding our team and currently have a vacancy for a Purchasing Officer to handle procurement essential for our daily operations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a purchasing executive/officer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, policies, and systems.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with relevant warehousing, purchasing, and logistics software.
  • Meticulous with attention to detail, organizational and planning skills.
  • Good communication and networking skills.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
  • Team player and proactive attitude.
  • Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Purchasing Administration: Request quotations, prepare Purchase Requisition (PR) and Purchase Order (PO), and related tasks.
  • Inventory Coordination: Track and coordinate incoming inventory deliveries with project & warehousing teams; monitor and update inventory levels at sites and warehouses.
  • Database Management: Organize, maintain, and update database of all orders, delivery info, etc.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports on purchases, including cost review & analysis.
  • Market Research: Research, compare, and evaluate vendors and suppliers; stay updated on emerging trends and new products/services.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers; attend product launches and related events.
  • Collaboration: Communicate and collaborate effectively with relevant departments.
