Job summary

The successful candidate will optimize purchasing strategies and build strong supplier relationships. This role requires a minimum of three years’ experience and a Bachelor's Degree, with an emphasis on effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

Source for new suppliers considering prices, lead times and quality.

Ensure that the spares trading needs are met.

Participate in meetings with suppliers.

Support direct reports as needed.

Negotiate with suppliers to obtain best possible service offerings with respect to lead time vs. price and quality.

Conduct benchmarking exercises.

Build a preferred supplier listing with primary, secondary, and tertiary options.

Proactively propose new purchasing channels, concepts, and methods.

Follow all relevant procedures and policies.

Ensure all transactions are properly recorded and documented.

Perform all activities in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards set by the company.

Handle and ensure deliveries of parts to Skyways Technics are on time.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of working experience, preferably in aviation industry

Possess a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in related fields

Fluent in English speaking, reading, and writing

Effective communication

Strong interpersonal skills, who inspires and leads naturally

Self-motivated and performance driven

Multi-tasker, Hands on and Team Player

An existing network of suppliers in commercial aviation aftermarket sector

Knowledge in Airbus, Boeing or Embraer aircraft is a plus
