Responsible for procurement of local operation needs, including inventory items, MRO items, spare parts, equipment, engineering items, manufacturing supplies, office equipment, facilities, and other services.
Responsible for leading cost improvement efforts for the local supply base, negotiating with local suppliers to achieve the best quality, price, lead time, and items in line with target costs and quality performance.
Negotiates with external vendors regarding purchase contracts.
Leads the new supplier qualification and performance rating activities.
Reviews and approves purchase orders.
Performs any other duties assigned by management.
At least 5 years of working experience in the EMS or electronics manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership skills.
