A leading company in the printing industry is seeking a Purchasing Executive to manage procurement of raw materials. In this role, you will negotiate with suppliers, ensure compliance with company policies, and maintain strong relationships to guarantee a reliable supply chain. The ideal candidate will have a degree in business or supply chain management, proven experience in procurement, and excellent negotiation skills. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required, with Mandarin as a plus.

Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, including price, payment terms, delivery schedules, and quality standards.

Collaborate with legal and contract management teams to draft, review, and finalize supply agreements and contracts.

Ensure that contracts align with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Monitor market trends, commodity prices, and economic factors that may impact raw material costs.

Identify opportunities for cost reduction through negotiations, bulk purchasing, and alternative sourcing.

Coordinate with the logistics and inventory management teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of raw materials.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to foster collaboration and ensure a reliable supply of raw materials.

Maintain accurate records of purchase, supplier contracts, agreements, and performance metrics.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.

Proven experience in procurement, with a focus on raw materials sourcing.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.

Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Fluent in oral and written English and Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin will be an added advantage.
