Purchasing Executive (Mechanical) - Manufacturing Company in Bayan Lepas

Our client, based in Bayan Lepas, is a manufacturing company specializing in the customization of automated machines and wafer-handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Source and evaluate suppliers of mechanical parts, equipment, and services based on quality, cost, lead time, and reliability.
2. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure proper sourcing of components.
3. Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and contract conditions with vendors to secure the best possible value.
4. Raise and manage purchase orders, ensuring alignment with project timelines and inventory requirements.
5. Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality control teams to understand technical requirements and resolve procurement issues.
6. Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular assessments to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
7. Stay updated on market trends, new materials, and innovations in mechanical components and manufacturing technologies.
8. Assist in cost reduction initiatives and vendor consolidation strategies.
9. Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and supplier databases.

Requirements:
