Plan, source, negotiate, and purchase raw materials at optimal timing, deal terms, and best prices for the organization, ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor business demand requirements to develop replenishment plans, source feasible suppliers, and secure purchases with favorable terms.
2. Source, negotiate, and evaluate supplier offers, comparing prices, specifications, and terms to select the most advantageous options.
3. Analyze market trends and factors affecting prices (e.g., weather) to inform strategic purchasing decisions.
4. Update product cost components timely to identify cost-saving opportunities.
5. Follow SOPs for purchase order issuance to ensure timely procurement and avoid operational disruptions.
6. Track shipment movements to ensure timely arrivals, considering environmental factors like tides.
7. Coordinate with receiving teams to confirm delivery details match expectations.
8. Address delays by collaborating with logistics partners and proposing solutions to mitigate risks.
9. Reconcile unfulfilled deliveries, claim damages, and negotiate favorable outcomes with suppliers.
10. Coordinate with relevant parties for smooth operations, including customs documentation and logistics.
11. Process purchase and shipping documents, matching invoices with POs for timely payments.
12. Obtain necessary import licenses, permits, and registrations to ensure compliance and timely delivery.
13. Compile documentation for tax incentives and submit to authorities within deadlines.
14. Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Procurement, Economics, Trading, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in purchasing or relevant roles.
