Purchasing Executive (Direct Material, Interconnect Industry) - US Based MNC

Our client, US Based MNC, is looking for a Purchasing Executive to be based in the Simpang Ampat plant.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Purchase and manage direct materials for production.
2. Ensure timely delivery to avoid production delays.
3. Source local materials when needed.
4. Negotiate with suppliers for better pricing.
5. Manage raw materials inventory.
6. Issue purchase orders and track shipments.
7. Collaborate with customer service and planners on material demand.
8. Conduct supplier audits and handle quality issues.
9. Assist with indirect materials procurement and freight forwarding.
10. Help with customs clearance for shipments.
11. Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, databases, and ERP systems.
• Strong supply chain and inventory management knowledge.
• Good sourcing, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Willingness to work odd hours and learn new skills.
