Job description

Duties & Responsibilities:
1. To prepare Purchase Order and liaise with suppliers as needed, to confirm or change orders and ensure that procurement activities comply with the Company Procurement Policy and Procedures.
2. Collaborate with Store and Production Team to ensure raw materials and packaging materials are available and kept at minimum level by taking into consideration re-ordering request from Production to minimize obsolete and slow-moving stock.
3. Collaborate with relevant personnel (customers’ representatives included if required) on artwork status and communicate with suppliers on latest amendment/changes.
4. Follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery.
5. Source for and compare quotations from vendors/contractors for procurement of goods and services for the Company.
6. Manage suppliers’ relations and negotiate with vendors/suppliers for the best terms in respect of pricing, quality, delivery and payment terms.
7. Review the services, prices and contracts/agreements with vendors from time to time and advice HOD for improvement and propose alternative solution to get the cost saving objectives.
8. Compilation of Invoices against Delivery Orders and Purchase Orders raised to be handed to Finance department;
9. Work closely with Finance Team to review payment terms annually with suppliers to generate cash flow improvements.
10. Prepare reports, analyses and update management on procurement activities and performance.
11. Participate in stock count exercises.
12. Report any irregularities or changes to the management.
13. Perform other duties and assignment as required by the General Manager or higher authorities from time to time.

Requirements:
• A minimum Diploma holder in any discipline.
• At least two (2) years working experience in related field.
• Computer literate and skilled in MS Office applications.
• Proficient in English, Malay and Mandarin (preferred Chinese).
• Possess good problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and possess a positive working attitude.
• Analytical, resourceful, team player and willing to multi-task.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Able to work independently under minimum supervision.
