Overall job objectives

To ensure that procurements meet the Company’s requirement in term of delivery time line, quality and cost.

Job Description

  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best value in terms of cost, quality, and delivery, in line with project timelines.
  • Manage the end-to-end purchasing process from purchase requisition to purchase order and delivery, ensuring timely availability of materials.
  • Coordinate with suppliers on delivery schedules, non-conforming parts, and warranty claims.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and monitor their delivery punctuality and quality performance.
  • Support the project team in obtaining up-to-date cost information from suppliers.
  • Ensure all purchasing activities are in compliance with company policies, procedures, code of ethics, and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Carry out other ad-hoc tasks as been assigned by superiors from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in a project-based manufacturing or assembly environment. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, training will be provied.
  • Experience in the furniture and fittings industry and ability to read technical drawings is an added advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
  • A good team player who can adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment.
  • Language: Mandarin/Chinese language ability is a strong plus as need to deal with supplier from China.
  • Willing to work at Kapar, Klang.
