- Responsible for the procurement of products / materials / services / trading finished goods for the organization accordance to Purchasing processing procedure whether for internal use or for re-sale.
- Responsible in Purchase Requisition (PR) and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processing.
- Responsible in timely Purchase Order (PO) issuance, Open PO monitoring and delivery tracking / follow up.
- Close communication & coordination with Requestors, Internal Departments and Suppliers on delivery arrangement, receiving status updates & reporting.
- Close delivery monitoring & expediting to ensure on time goods delivery.
- Identify new potential vendors and alternative materials in order to secure more cost-effective sources of material and services.
- Negotiate and coordinate with Supplier and Requestor to secure the best deal and best delivery lead time.
- Support cost savings activities / projects.
- Maintain purchase database / documentation in compliance to Company SOP.
- Perform any other ad-hoc tasks or duties as assigned by Superior.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of procurement working experience in a similar role / in the related field.
- Detailed-oriented, well organized with strong problem-solving skills.
- Enthusiastic, positive attitude and good team player.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (both verbal & written) as this role needs to handle oversea clients.
