Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Executive to manage our procurement activities and ensure a steady supply of raw materials, machinery parts, services, and other necessary items for our paper products manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate should have solid procurement experience and a good understanding of manufacturing needs to support smooth coordination between purchasing, production, and maintenance teams.

Job Responsibilities
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to procure raw materials, machinery parts, and other manufacturing or factory‑related items.
  • Ensure the timely and cost‑effective purchase of goods and services while maintaining quality and sustainability standards.
  • Manage the procurement process, including raising purchase orders, tracking deliveries and resolving any issues or discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of all purchasing activities and inventory levels.
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, cost‑saving opportunities, and industry trends.
  • Work closely with the Finance department to verify invoices and resolve discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure smooth delivery and receipt of goods or services.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and resolve any supply chain issues efficiently.
  • Provide support to team members as needed.
Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field (Engineering background is an added advantage).

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably within the manufacturing or related industry.

Good understanding of machinery components and technical specifications is an added advantage.

Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal teams and external suppliers.

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently to meet deadlines.
