Job description

· Responsible to source / evaluate supplier’s quotation, negotiate & purchasing material.

· To follow up and ensure timely delivery from suppliers to save inventory costs and to avoid costly delays.

· Ensure purchase in competitive price and continuous cost down. Comparing and evaluating offer from suppliers.

· To initiate materials planning stage of projects together with project team and consultants.

· Close monitoring of materials delivery schedule to smoothen the construction work progress, and to ensure quality compliance to our specification.

· To ensure proper documentation and filing system of correspondences.

· Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the management.

Requirements:

· Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Purchasing / Business Administration or equivalent.

· Working experience in Purchasing / Procurement related field will be added advantage.

· Experience working in the construction company will be added advantage.

· Result oriented with a strong sense of urgency and managing to handle and work under pressure.

· Computer literate, good knowledge of MS office operation, Excel & Outlook.

· Proficient in written and verbal communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

· Good communication skills, independent and fast learner.
