We offer a range of responsibilities and opportunities for talented individuals within our team, including:

We ensure adequate provisioning of materials from vendors for standard and consumable boat items for production use.

Sourcing new materials for new models and projects, ensuring all materials arrive on time for production.

Liaising and communicating with the other stakeholders regarding any changes in new model specifications, such as material changes and new items for improvement, as well as design and production matters.

Ensuring strict adherence to our purchasing policies, we purchase the best quality at the best prices from suppliers.

Closely liaising with Production on material shortages, replacement orders, rejected parts, parts availability, and delivery matters related to the Purchasing Department.

Working closely with the warehouse and shipping department on the arrival of goods and liaising with the finance department on vendor payments.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

Materials Shortages Report: Review materials shortage reports daily and resolve all shortage-related issues promptly.

Safety Stocks and Reports: Reviewing safety stocks, vendor overdue POs, and boat job cards (materials required for all and specified boats) on a timely basis, preferably at least once a month or with each new job card release.

Materials Stage One Reviews: Conducting Materials Stage One Reviews for each boat to ensure Purchase Orders are issued to vendors and materials arrive on time for production if required.

Collaboration with Stakeholders: Working closely with the stakeholders on quotations for optional and new items, delivery lead times, and other provisioning information if needed.

Meeting Attendance and Coordination: Attend production meetings, job card reviews, and new model boat project meetings; coordinate with the warehouse and address purchase issues arising from production as required.

Finance Coordination: Working closely with the Finance department on POs, invoices, delivery orders, and payment terms with vendors.

Collaboration with QC Departments: Working closely with Design and QC departments on Change Orders, value engineering recommendations, new items, and quality issues as necessary.

Vendor Performance Review: Reviewing existing vendor performance for cost savings, keeping freight costs low, and obtaining the best prices and quality products from vendors.

Support on Special Projects: Assisting the Senior Purchasing Executive and Purchasing Manager with special projects as assigned.

What We Prefer:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or Planning.

At least 5 years of experience as a Planner in supply chain management.

Strong proficiency in negotiation skills and planning.

Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.

Creative problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.

Motivated and articulate.

Great time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet conflicting deadlines.

Open to candidates from diverse backgrounds.
