Join the dynamic team at TOMOE MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. as a full-time Purchasing Executive based in Kulim Hi-Tech Park Kedah. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of materials, services, and equipment to support the company's operations and growth objectives.

What you'll be doing

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and procure required materials, services, and equipment
• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and manage supplier relationships
• Ensure timely delivery of purchased items while maintaining optimal inventory levels
• Process purchase orders and liaise with suppliers to resolve any delivery or quality issues
• Maintain accurate procurement records and generate relevant reports
• Support the development and implementation of purchasing policies and procedures
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing efficiency and cost savings

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills with a proven track record of securing favorable contract terms
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers
• Proficient in data analysis and report generation to support procurement decision-making
• Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
• Familiarity with SAP systems and inventory management software
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Familiar with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, or ISO 14001
