• Source, select, and negotiate purchase packages with suppliers.

Job description

• To source, select, and negotiate the best purchase packages in terms of quality, price, terms, delivery, and services with suppliers.
• To coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
• To source for new parts, suppliers, or subcontractors when needed.
• To plan and coordinate projects with other management staff and handle new product development and maintenance items.
• Responsible for planning material supply for production and interfacing with vendors to ensure sufficient materials supply.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess a Diploma or above.
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required.
• Computer literate with knowledge of Navision (ERP) system; good negotiation skills are preferred.
• Excellent command of English and Malay; Mandarin speakers are preferred due to extensive correspondence with China counterparts or suppliers for purchase and sourcing of raw materials.
• Able to commence work on short notice.
