Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Klang City is seeking a Purchasing Officer to manage the procurement of materials and goods. The ideal candidate will have a degree, at least 2 years of experience, and strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a preference for Mandarin speakers. This role offers a five-day work week, yearly bonuses, and other benefits.

Job Responsibility

• Purchase materials / goods at the best prices based on requirement plans and ensure all purchases are made in compliance with the Company policy.
• Able to sourcing for suppliers dealing with chemicals, machinery spare parts, electrical and electronic parts, office equipments.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 , ISO 14001
• Knowledge of Autocount software is an added advantage
• Good interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess Degree in any related field.
• At least 2 years of working experience, preferably manufacturing industry.
• Result oriented, Multi tasking, possess strong analytical skills, and able to demonstrate sense of initiative with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Require skill in Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint.
• Possess good attitude, hardworking, analytical and meticulous.
• Mandarin speaking is required.
