• Minimum Education: Diploma/Degree in related field
• Experience: Buyer/Purchaser for at least 1-2 years.
• Skills: Good communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Languages: Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Attributes: Proactive problem-solving, follow-up, and negotiation skills.
• Independence: Must have initiative and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in using procurement software such as AUTO Count systems and MS Office Suite.

Working hours:

• Monday – Friday: 0800 – 1700
• Saturday: 0800 – 1200

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate procurement activities to effectively meet production and operational needs.
• Prepare, issue, and monitor purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation.
• Develop and maintain a database of approved suppliers, contracts, and price lists.
• Monitor market trends and pricing fluctuations to recommend cost-saving opportunities.
• Address and resolve supply chain issues, such as delivery delays or quality discrepancies, promptly.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical sourcing standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and quality.
• Conduct supplier evaluations, including delivery performance, quality standards, and adherence to agreements.
• Conduct post-purchase reviews to assess supplier performance and improve processes.
• Participate in procurement process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and reduce lead times.
