We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing cum Sales Coordinator to join our team. This dual-role position is essential in ensuring smooth procurement operations while also supporting the sales team in both offline and online sales activities. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, organized, and able to balance responsibilities across purchasing, coordination, and digital sales support effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Purchasing
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of quality goods at competitive prices.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Prepare and present regular reports on purchasing activities, inventory status, and supplier performance to management.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the sales team, including preparing proposals, quotations, and presentations.
- Coordinate the order fulfilment process, ensuring timely delivery by liaising with internal departments and external suppliers.
- Assist in the development and implementation of sales strategies, promotions, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Generate sales reports, analyse data, and identify trends or new business opportunities.
- Digital & Marketing Support
- Assist with online sales activities, including managing product listings, promotions, and inquiries through e-commerce platforms and social media channels.
- Support the sales team in promoting products online, responding to leads generated via social media, and coordinating digital campaigns.
- Use design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar tools) to create simple marketing materials, brochures, or social media posts when needed.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a Purchasing or Sales Coordinator role (FMCG/Trading/Manufacturing background is an advantage).
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel for reporting & data analysis).
- Knowledge of accounting/ERP systems and e-commerce platforms (Shopee, Lazada, etc.) is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (Canva/Adobe Suite) for marketing and social media content creation.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
