About the role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Purchasing Associate to join our dynamic team at Advance Lube Enterprise Sdn Bhd, based in Kempas, Johor. This full-time role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient procurement of materials and supplies to support our manufacturing and logistics operations.

What you'll be doing

Create a PO for raw materials

Chase account to make a payment/deposit for some purchases that need an advance payment

Key in Goods Receive Notes & Purchase Invoice

Sourcing for new items

Check shipping documents (import), liaise with supplier & forwarder regarding document details

Plan a schedule for the collection of goods, liaise with the supplier, transporter, and warehouse

Liaise with the supplier regarding defects/any material issues, prepare Return Notes and NC if needed

Any ad-hoc job as per management request

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industries

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and recommendations

Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders

Proficient in the use of procurement software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office applications

A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing supply chain challenges

A collaborative team player who can work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
