Job Responsibilities
- Assist in price negotiation with suppliers by working directly with them to gather and negotiate price lists, compare shipping rates and product prices.
- Manage Purchase Orders by completing and maintaining all related documentation.
- Oversee shipping schedules, ensuring follow-up on all incoming shipments.
- Maintain purchase records, including detailed paper or computerized records of quantities, shipping information, costs, and updates.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
- Fluency in Mandarin is preferred as the role involves dealing with Mandarin-speaking suppliers.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience as a Purchasing Assistant or Coordinator in the retail industry or similar role is preferred.
- Willing to work at Kampung Baru, Sungai Buloh.
