Responsible for arranging and executing all relevant purchasing and administrative tasks.
Ensure all goods are purchased according to company requirements.
Ensure all incoming and outgoing goods meet deadlines as required.
Sourcing & negotiate prices with suppliers.
Raise Purchase Orders for all goods.
Arrange, handle, and purchase from local and overseas suppliers, including shipping, declaring goods, SST for customs, and applying for approvals from relevant authorities.
Perform data entry for goods received.
Conduct new supplier and supplier performance evaluations.
Ensure pricing is acceptable and reasonable.
Knowledgeable in FSSC/HACCP/HALAL.
Participate in stock check activities.
Verify incoming and outgoing goods.
Perform data entry for raw materials (In Stock).
Perform administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, printing, scanning, etc.
Any other tasks assigned by superiors.
Job Requirements:
At least 1 year of purchasing or equivalent work experience in the manufacturing / FMCG industry.
Required Skills: Microsoft Office (Excel & Word) and Autocount.
Languages required: English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (majority of suppliers are Mandarin speakers).
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
High accountability in providing feedback on assignment progress and issues.
Good planning and organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
Knowledge and experience in handling Import and Export documents (e.g., COO, CA, K1, K2, Form E, Health Cert, etc.).
