Key Responsibilities

Purpose of Role

Supporting actions and success measures for your role as Purchasing and Finance Executive. This academic year, the following aims and objectives have been identified for all staff to put into practice. These aims and objectives should be at the forefront of your mind when performing your responsibilities and duties in school.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for sourcing, selecting and negotiating with suppliers to constantly strive for best purchase price while maintaining the highest level of quality, reliability and service.
  2. To attend to all purchase requests and to issue purchase orders against the approved purchase requisitions follow the established purchasing procedures.
  3. To coordinate with suppliers to ensure on time delivery.
  4. To plan and monitor inventory levels and usage of resources/materials to meet the requirements of school operations.
  5. To work closely with all departments and external suppliers to executive and support purchasing activities to ensure smooth running of school operations.
  6. To review purchase requisitions and determine proper purchasing methods in compliance with the purchasing policies and procedures.
  7. To assist in matters concerning accounts receivable which include School and CCA fee collection; Billings; Banking in of school monies.
  8. To assist in credit control (specifically reminders for late or non-payment of fees).
  9. To assist in matters concerning purchasing and to ensure all school purchases follow established purchasing procedures.
  10. To perform any other duties related to school administration as and when required.
  11. Many of these duties may require involvement with the school outside the ‘normal’ working day. This is at the discretion of the Campus Principal and Regional Team.

Skills, Qualifications And Experience

  1. Candidate should possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or a Professional Degree in Accountancy.
  2. Required language(s): English Language (with strong communication & language skills).
  3. At least 3-5 year(s) of relevant working experience in financial accounting is required.
  4. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills and highly engaging.
  5. Confident, organised, highly motivated and has the passion and drive in the schools’ operations.
  6. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and maintain confidentiality.
  7. Proficient with Microsoft Office and prior working knowledge of Netsuite is desirable.
