PURCHASER / BUYER / PROCUREMENT (IMMEDIATE)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Purchaser/Buyer/Procurement to join our dynamic team at LEMAX TECHNOLOGY MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. in Senai Johor. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of materials, supplies, and services required for the smooth operation of our manufacturing business.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect and analyze product availability status in market, summarize, verify and evaluate supplier information;

Responsible for the development and management of suppliers, negotiate with suppliers on purchase price;

Obtain quotations for procurement requirements, cost accounting and supply progress following up

Evaluate and check the reasonableness of the purchase price of commodity or service to ensure the price meets the purchase needs

Be responsible for tracking and supervision in the course of procurement contract execution to ensure normal supply of commodity with good quality and quantity

Build and maintain good relationship with suppliers to ensure smooth implementation of procurement work

Apply for and keep track of payment schedule

Prepare, arrange and file correlative documents, and ensure the integrality of correlative documents

Complete other matters related to procurement, and submit relevant summary reports and make reasonable proposals

To succeed in this role, you need to have:

Minimum 1 years of experience in a supply chain/ purchasing/ procurement role, preferably in the manufacturing industry which related with Electrical, Mechanical, Laser Engineering

Basic understanding of electrical/mechanical materials. Preferable with experience in automated equipment industry

Primarily responsible for purchasing materials in laser, electrical, and mechanical categories

Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field

Negotiation and vendor management skills with the ability to build and maintain positive supplier relationships

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize procurement processes

Proficient in using procurement software and ERP systems, Excel, Word, and other common office software

Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin, with proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia.

(Must fluency in Mandarin is preferred for liaising with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.)

Working hours: Mon-Fri (8:30 a.m.- 6 p.m.)
