Job summary

A leading company in Malaysia is looking for a Purchaser to oversee daily procurement operations. The role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating prices, and ensuring quality control of materials. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree, relevant experience, and proficiency in both English and Mandarin. This position requires strong communication, negotiation, and data analysis skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in procurement, logistics, business management preferred.
  • 1-3 years of procurement experience, preferably in small household appliances.
  • Proficient in English and Mandarin for work communication.

Job description

1. Responsible for the daily procurement of raw materials, electronic components, hardware, and equipment, ensuring efficient and compliant procurement processes.

2. Actively explore and maintain local supplier resources, establish long-term stable and mutually beneficial cooperative relationships.

3. Closely track market dynamics, timely grasp the trend of raw material prices, and reduce procurement costs through effective negotiation strategies.

4. Strictly control the quality of purchased materials, collaborate with the quality department to handle quality issues, and ensure smooth production.

5. Accurately and timely process purchase orders and related documents to ensure the completeness and accuracy of procurement data.

Job requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or above, with priority given to majors in procurement, logistics, business management, or related fields

2. Possess 1-3 years of procurement work experience, familiar with procurement processes and supplier management, with preference given to those with procurement experience in the small household appliance industry.

3. Proficient in using English for daily work communication, with priority given to those who speak Mandarin, in order to better communicate and collaborate with internal companies and some Mandarin speaking suppliers.

4. Possess good communication, coordination, and negotiation skills, able to strive for favorable conditions in supplier cooperation; Strong data analysis skills, able to make reasonable procurement decisions based on data.

5. Work conscientiously and responsibly, pay attention to details, possess strong sense of responsibility and stress resistance, and be able to efficiently complete tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
