- To issue Purchase Orders (PO), source or procure project materials, and verify stock availability.
- To follow up and ensure on-time delivery of goods, investigate delays, and initiate remedial actions.
- To validate and submit invoices to the Accounts Department for payment processing.
- To maintain records such as tracking documents and purchasing databases.
- To compare prices, material quality, and payment terms according to budget and economic factors.
- To determine or negotiate contract terms and conditions.
- To establish and maintain good relationships with internal departments and external suppliers.
- To perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by superiors from time to time.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in a related field; experience in the construction industry is advantageous.
