A leading company in the automotive sector seeks a Purchasing Executive to manage supplier relations, purchase order management, and stock control. The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Business or Supply Chain and 1-2 years of related experience. Job description

Source new suppliers, products, and materials.

Evaluate and compare supplier quotations to ensure competitive pricing and terms.

Maintain good relationships with existing and potential suppliers.

Purchase Order Management:

Prepare and issue purchase orders (PO) based on approved requisitions.

Track and monitor PO delivery timelines to ensure on-time delivery.

Verify delivery orders and supplier invoices for accuracy.

Inventory & Stock Control:

Coordinate with warehouse and inventory teams to maintain optimal stock levels.

Monitor stock movement and assist in stock replenishment planning.

Cost Management:

Negotiate prices and payment terms with suppliers to optimize cost.

Maintain up-to-date cost records and supplier pricing.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain accurate purchasing records and filing of POs, invoices, and supplier correspondence.

Generate reports on purchasing activity, price trends, and supplier performance.

Compliance & Quality Control:

Ensure purchases comply with company policies and quality standards.

Follow up on defective or wrong deliveries and coordinate returns/replacements.

Work closely with other departments (warehouse, sales, accounts, etc.) to support operational needs.

Assist in resolving any supply-related issues that may impact business operations.

Requirements:

Minimum SPM / Diploma in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.

At least 1–2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement (preferred).

Good negotiation, communication, and organization skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic computer skills.

Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
