Position - Purchase Specialist(Mandarin)
Location - Balakong, Selangor
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Age - Below 30
Salary & Benefits
- RM3,500 – RM5,500 (including allowances)
- RM150 Transportation Allowance

Responsibilities
- Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers to secure the best pricing, terms, and timely delivery of materials.
- Ensure purchased items comply with Local standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submit applications to:

- SIRIM (product certification, testing reports, labeling requirements)
- Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) – Certificate of Approval (COA) for electrical products
- Local Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) – device certifications
- Ensure timely renewal and tracking of all relevant certificates and licenses.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation for all regulatory submissions and approvals.
- Liaise with testing labs, consultants, and government officials where required.
- Support internal and external audits related to product compliance and import controls.
Authority
- Create Purchase Orders and Material Master.
- Manage shipment arrangements from issuance of Purchase Orders to arrival at warehouse/site.
Role Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration / Supply Chain or any related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in purchasing operations will be preferred.
- Mandarin proficiency (written/spoken) is essential for liaising with China/Taiwan based suppliers.
- Strong analytical, communication skills & attention to details.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities & meet deadlines.
- Good knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
