About the role

As the Purchase Manager at JUYI SOLUTION SDN BHD, you will oversee procurement and inventory management processes. This full-time role is based in Iskandar Puteri Johor and supports manufacturing, transport, and logistics operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage procurement to ensure timely, cost-effective acquisition of materials, goods, and services.
  2. Develop and maintain supplier relationships to negotiate favorable terms and prices.
  3. Oversee inventory management to optimise stock levels, reduce wastage, and ensure material availability.
  4. Analyze purchasing data to identify process improvements and cost savings.
  5. Collaborate with teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
  6. Monitor and report on procurement and inventory metrics for data-driven decisions.
  7. Coordinate with Operations to ensure timely delivery and scheduling of orders.
  8. Perform additional tasks as assigned to support business needs.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement management, preferably in manufacturing, transport, or logistics.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience leading and developing procurement teams.
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field (advantage).
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
