A leading aluminium company in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Public Relations & Corporate Communications Executive to enhance its reputation and stakeholder engagement. Responsibilities include developing corporate publications, managing events, and analyzing media coverage. The ideal candidate holds a degree in communications and has 2-3 years of relevant experience, with strong writing and management skills.
To plan, develop and execute effective public relations and corporate communications initiatives that enhance the company’s reputation, visibility, stakeholder engagement and internal alignment.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop high-quality corporate publications and communications materials, including newsletters, corporate presentations, media kits, press releases, digital content and internal bulletins;
Ensure consistency in tone, voice and messaging across all internal and external communications;
Manage regular content updates on corporate websites and LinkedIn to improve online presence and ensure timely communication with target audiences;
Plan and manage key corporate events, conferences, exhibitions and community engagement programs to strengthen the company’s image and stakeholder relations;
Coordinate pre-event promotions, on-site media support and post-event reporting to maximize event impact and visibility;
Manage CSR programs and sponsorship initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company’s values and branding;
Assist in the preparation of award submissions by compiling relevant project data, achievements and company highlights;
Track and analyze media coverage, public opinion and industry trends to assess performance and adjust communications strategies accordingly;
Serve as a liaison for both internal and external stakeholders, providing timely and effective communication on corporate matters;
Oversee the development and distribution of corporate collaterals including brochures, corporate gifts, diaries, greeting cards and other branded materials;
Utilize AI tools to streamline workflows, generate content ideas and enhance the quality and consistency of external communication.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field;
2 – 3 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, public relations or a related discipline;
Excellent command of English, with strong writing, editing and verbal communication skills;
Detail-oriented, proactive, independent and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment;
Ability to evaluate and integrate AI solutions to enhance marketing efficiency and creativity will be an added advantage;
Strong interpersonal skills, stakeholder management abilities and media handling confidence;
Detail-oriented with good judgement in capability in managing priorities efficiently;
Responsible and highly organized, ensuring tasks are completed with accuracy and attention to detail.
