Job description

We’re on the lookout for a Public Relations & Brand Specialist.

If you are driven by the desire to craft PR strategies, build relationships with media and KOLs, and ensure consistent brand messaging, we want to hear from you!

This is a full-time (hybrid) position based in Kuala Lumpur, with direct reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing.

What are your responsibilities?

  • Craft and execute PR and communication strategies by identifying and leveraging publicity opportunities to drive business objectives.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with influential local media and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
  • Manage responses to incidents or crises effectively to ensure brand reputation.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials.
  • Draft and manage content for proposals, press releases, case studies, reports, and other marketing materials.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and social media.

What are the minimum requirements?

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in agency or in-house brand communications.
  • Proactive and able to identify and develop publicity opportunities.
  • Familiar with local media and KOLs, with some existing relationships to build on.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and an analytical mindset to measure and refine PR efforts.
  • Good writing and storytelling skills.
  • Proficiency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
