Possess a Diploma / Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
Minimum of 1 year of experience in PR, corporate communications, content creation or relevant working experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
Proficient in social media management, content creation tools (e.g., Canva, etc.), and basic photography / videography skills
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities for newsletters, social media, and other PR materials
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English; additional language skills are an added advantage
Strong relationship-building skills for media and community engagement
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and handle event logistics
Responsibilities
Develop engaging content, social media, and promotional materials, ensuring alignment with SOP’s brand and communication goals
Assist with media outreach, cultivating positive relationships with journalists and community stakeholders
Coordinate logistics for events, document activities through photography and videography, and prepare content for follow-up communications
Maintain brand standards across all communications
Support in-house training sessions and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance the PR capabilities of the team
Perform ad-hoc tasks and special projects as assigned from time to time
