Job summary

Regent Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Public Area Manager to oversee all public spaces from lobbies to outdoor grounds, ensuring Regent's quiet, luxurious standards across the guest journey. You will lead Public Area Attendants, coordinate pest control, landscaping and external contractors to keep areas immaculate and safe.

Responsibilities include staffing, budgeting, inventory control and adherence to the IHG Clean Promise, while delivering proactive guest service and addressing issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality or Hotel Management required.
• Minimum 4 years' public area or housekeeping experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Fluent English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train and coach Public Area Attendants on SOPs, fire safety, chemical usage and the IHG Way of Clean Process.
• Prepare staffing schedules, task assignments and performance goals for the Public Area team with regular feedback.
• Promote teamwork and high-quality service through daily communication with other department heads.
• Supervise pest control, landscaping and periodic deep cleaning across hotel public spaces.
• Support the public area team during high-volume periods and major events.
