Job Purpose/Overview:

  • Transfer Royal Canin Nutrition knowledge.
  • Develop sustained collaborative relationships with customers by identifying business opportunities via increased product distribution.
  • Develop a business plan to accelerate sales growth and deliver KPIs that contribute to the overall growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and identify customer business development at different stages.
  • Responsible for executing in-store visibility, product planogram, and excellence in merchandising.
  • Provide periodic updates on individual scorecard customer business reviews (analysis of market situations and SKU performance to identify action plans).
  • Establish good relationships with customers to gain support, loyalty, and advocacy.
  • Conduct periodic customer visits in accordance with the work plan.
  • Ensure targets are met through consistent delivery of Net Sales Value and Days Sales Operations.
  • Track the investment plan against objectives with customers.
  • Look for opportunities for development within the defined strategy.

Job Specifications/Qualifications:

  • Graduate with a bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience at the field level.
  • Ability to establish relationships across all levels, both internally and externally (pet shop owners & staff).
  • Commercial acumen with good negotiation skills.
  • An interest in nutrition is a plus.
  • Experience in the pet food industry, specialized channels, and vets is an added value.
  • Effective communication skills and proactive initiatives.
  • Excellent understanding of product knowledge; a background in nutrition and/or veterinary medicine is an added value.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide.
