SUSTIO SDN. BHD. in Batu Kawan, Penang, Malaysia, seeks a Safety & Health Engineer (PSM Process) to support process safety management, chemical safety, environmental compliance, and workplace safety initiatives within our manufacturing operations.

The role focuses on leading PSM programs, conducting CHRA and risk assessments, maintaining SDS and chemical documentation, investigating incidents, and driving CAPA to improve safety performance across the site.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Safety & Health, Occupational Safety, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Process Safety Management (PSM), EHS, Occupational Safety & Health, or Chemical Safety.
• Knowledge of HIRARC, CHRA, incident investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA.
• Familiar with OSHA, DOSH, CIMAH, and environmental compliance requirements.
• Experience in chemical management, hazardous materials handling, and emergency response planning.
• Exposure to semiconductor, PCB, electronics, chemical, or manufacturing industries is preferred.
• CePSWaM, Green Book, SHO, or other EHS-related certifications will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, analytical, and able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Right to work in Malaysia.

Aufgaben

• Lead and support Process Safety Management (PSM) programs and initiatives.
• Conduct HIRARC, risk assessments, safety inspections, and workplace audits.
• Manage Chemical Health Risk Assessment (CHRA) activities and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain chemical inventories, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and chemical compliance documentation.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and perform root cause analysis.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve safety performance.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOSH, CIMAH, environmental regulations, and company EHS standards.
• Support CIMAH requirements, emergency response planning, and crisis management activities.
• Manage scheduled waste programs and environmental compliance initiatives.
• Deliver EHS training, safety awareness campaigns, and employee safety orientation programs.
