Title: PS Technical Consultant

Client is a leading software- and services-led enterprise provider in the financial, retail, hospitality, telecom, and technology industries.

Position Summary

• Position required to deliver customer billable consulting and projects for networking and related technologies, primarily WLAN/LAN, to our targeted accounts and support the development of customer engagements across the region.

• Take a lead role in securing new consulting engagements, working closely with presales and sales, and managing day-to-day client relationships and results, taking responsibility for the overall success of assigned tasks.
• Create design materials and initiate reviews with team members when necessary.
• Write project documentation.
• Validate system design and solution to the project requirements; plan and organize work commensurate to project objectives and schedule.
• Practice proper design (HLD/LLD) control, development procedures, and best practices.
• Capable of using various techniques and tools to efficiently resolve problems (e.g., Airmagnet, Ekahau, iPerf, Wireshark, etc.).
• Act as technical lead in complex client engagements, or mentor/support other technical leads on their projects.
• Ensure that projects meet established time, cost, technical, and client objectives; ensure appropriate change control procedures are developed and managed.
• Support the project manager related to technical aspects of the project.
• Receive, review, and approve technician training programs and attend project conference calls (internal and external).
• Create and manage technical process documentation.
• Review router & switch WLAN and telephony survey for completeness & review site survey report for completeness.
• Conduct demo/POC for customers.
• Assist presales and sales in the technical workshop for presentation, technical clarification, and functional requirement gathering.
• Assist engineers in on-site activities.

• CCPN or equivalent.
• Experience in design, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of WLAN/LAN solutions.
• Experience in WLAN/LAN survey, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in Ekahau and WLAN survey tools; able to study, analyze, generate the survey report, and provide predictive design for the WLAN solution.
• At least 5+ years of experience in networking systems design and integration; Cisco or Aruba WLAN experience, WAN routing with BGP, etc.
• Technical project leadership, with experience organizing project resources.
• Experience in specifying, designing, implementing, and optimizing networking and Cisco Collaboration and other solutions in datacenter and enterprise environments.
• Experience creating and leading client presentations.
• Network discovery in complex environments.
• Experience working with client personnel at all levels, with the ability to converse in terms appropriate to the audience – technical/financial/operational/etc.
• Exposure to SDWAN/SDN technologies such as Cisco Meraki/Viptela/DNAC, Velocloud, Silver Peak, Fortinet, etc.
