Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a contract role to assist the Mechanical Engineer in installing, maintaining, testing, and commissioning Mechanical & Electrical systems in Kuala Lumpur. The position supports administrative tasks and coordinating project activities with the engineering team.

The candidate will identify action items, review specifications, and ensure quality standards while supporting tender document preparation and routine maintenance scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Mechanical Engineer in the installation and maintenance of Mechanical & Electrical systems.
• Assist the Mechanical Engineer in testing and commissioning Mechanical & Electrical systems.
• Assist the Mechanical Engineer in inspecting Mechanical & Electrical works.
• Provide administrative assistance to the Mechanical Engineer when required.
• Identify action items and work with the engineering team to close them.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to plan, coordinate, and implement mechanical and electrical projects.
• Review project specifications and identify technical constraints and requirements.
• Monitor and report project status to the Mechanical Engineer regularly.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and specifications.
• Work with the engineering lead to propose system updates and improvements to meet customer requirements.
• Schedule routine maintenance and inspections of mechanical systems.
• Perform other tasks assigned by superiors as required.
• Assist in preparing, collecting, and organizing tender documents.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: Up to RM2,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Kuala Lumpur: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
