Job description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Proposal Specialists team at Marsh & McLennan Asia Business Services (MMABS). This role will be based in our Pavilion Damansara Corporate Towers, Kuala Lumpur office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working as per respective team's arrangement.

Proposal and Design Specialist (tender/bid)

We will count on you to:

  • Collaborate with Client/Development Executives and Bid Sponsors to understand bid requirements and their commercial rationale.
  • Complete necessary forms and access online procurement portals for tender submissions.
  • Communicate effectively with the Impact Leader, proposal specialists, and other colleagues regarding design requirements.
  • Integrate relevant design elements into tender proposals and presentations that align with the client's industry and operations.
  • Produce high-quality reports, presentations, and design materials within agreed timeframes, adhering to Marsh branding guidelines.
  • Support the presentation team with pitch rehearsals by providing design insights for improved visual storytelling.
  • Manage projects to ensure timely completion of required designs for tenders.
  • Maintain and update a shared database with the latest templates.

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other design tools.
  • Strong creative and visual thinking skills to develop concepts aligned with brand identity.
  • Knowledge of typography, color theory, and effective layout arrangement.
  • Attention to detail to ensure high-quality designs without errors.
  • Experience in sales support, tender, or bid management is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders and effective presentation of designs.
  • Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects.
  • Awareness of industry trends and a commitment to continuous learning and skill enhancement.
