A leading company in mechanical and electrical services is seeking a Property/Facility Operations Manager in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance, and maintaining strong client relationships. Candidates should have a legal background and experience in property management, alongside excellent communication and organizational skills.
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Property/Facility Operations Manager to oversee the efficient operation and maintenance of our projects properties/facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day to day operations, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance, and maintaining strong relationships with the clients. A legal background is an advantage, especially in managing contracts, lease agreements, and regulatory documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage all sites and projects to ensure smooth daily operations, including maintenance, safety, and security.
2. Monitor and enforce compliance with local laws, building codes, and health & safety regulations.
3. Supervise the team in scheduling and executing both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
4. Prepare, monitor, and manage budgets related to property and facility operations, ensuring cost efficiency.
5. Draft, review, and maintain service contracts, lease agreements, and relevant legal documentation.
6. Prepare comprehensive site operation reports and ensure accurate documentation for internal audits and external inspections.
7. Lead response protocols for emergencies and incidents to minimize operational disruptions and ensure safety.
8. Prepare detailed operational and financial reports, participate in and contribute to monthly management meetings.
9. Lead the team in compiling and organizing all required documentation for the Annual General Meeting (AGM), ensuring completeness and compliance.
Qualifications:
1. degree in Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Legal background or knowledge of property related legal processes is an advantage.
3. Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in property or facility operations.
4. Strong knowledge of building systems, compliance standards, and vendor management.
5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
