Job summary

JLand Group - JLG in Johor, Malaysia seeks a proactive Project/Development Coordinator to oversee planning, submissions, approvals and stakeholder coordination for property developments. The role ensures progress aligns with the approved timeline.

You will liaise with MBJB and other authorities, coordinate with architects, engineers, planners and consultants, track submissions, and prepare progress reports to keep timelines on track.

Responsibilities

• To coordinate property development activities, including planning, authority submissions, approvals and stakeholder coordination, to ensure projects progress smoothly and according to the approved timeline.
• Coordinate property development activities from planning stage to project implementation.
• Liaise with MBJB and other relevant authorities on development and approval matters.
• Coordinate planning and technical submissions with architects, engineers, town planners and other consultants.
• Monitor the status of submissions, approvals and authority requirements.
• Follow up on outstanding comments, approvals and project-related matters.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.
• Coordinate with JV partners, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Attend project meetings, prepare minutes and follow up on action items.
• Maintain proper records of submissions, approvals, correspondence and project documents.
• Prepare project progress updates and reports for management.
• Identify and escape issues that may affect project timelines or development progress.
