Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an HVAC Technician in Malaysia to oversee delivery, installation, and commissioning of HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, and data center projects. You will troubleshoot faults, support testing and commissioning, and coordinate with supervisors, engineers and vendors on a daily basis.

The ideal candidate has a diploma in HVAC or related field, 2–5 years of hands-on experience, and the ability to read mechanical drawings.

Qualifications

• Diploma in HVAC, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2-5 years of HVAC installation, maintenance, or service experience.
• Hands-on experience with chilled water systems, AHUs, FCUs, CRAH/CRAC units, and ventilation systems.
• Ability to read basic mechanical drawings and troubleshoot HVAC equipment.
• Experience in data centers, commercial, or industrial facilities is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Delivery, installation, troubleshooting and commissioning support of HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, and data center projects.
• Install, inspect, test and commission HVAC equipment including chilled water systems, AHUs, FCUs, CRAH/CRAC units, and ventilation systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and operational faults and perform corrective measures.

• Maintain delivery reports, inspection records and equipment documentation.
• Comply with all site safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
