• Manages all procurement activities in a specific project.
• Ensures that the Project policies, procedures, and schedules are aligned to the Procurement Department activities.
• Supervises and harmonizes the activities of the Expediter Coordinator, Shipping Coordinator and all buyers working on the Project.
• Defines with the Procurement Senior Manager the policy to be followed for spare parts procurement and the conditions under which vendors will provide field supervision.
• Manages the Procurement team assigned on permanent basis to the Project Task Force, if applicable.
• Makes sure that Buyers select Vendors in accordance with the Project Vendor List.
• Follows all the phases related to the call for bids.
• Recommends a payment policy with the aim of avoiding a negative cash-flow balance.
• May manage one Project Procurement Coordinator, for larger projects.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in the related field.
