Job summary

A leading company in the construction sector is seeking an experienced Project Planner to oversee the technical requirements and scheduling of construction projects in Penang. Proficiency in Primavera and Microsoft Project is essential, along with strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years working experience as Project Planner or related field required.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Well versed in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project teams for planning and implementation of technical requirements.
• Monitor day-to-day construction work and ensure compliance with ISO standards.

Job description

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

• Create, monitor, coordinate with the project team in the planning and implementation of the technical requirements in the construction work;

• Liaising with the project director and project managers to discuss the progress of the project and address any issues that arise.

• Reporting on the progress of the construction work and properly resolving all conflicts.

• Provide actual data, update project schedule and develop reliable schedule forecast with support from the project team

• Ensuring all works are proceeding as programmed, carried out based on established method statements/procedures and specification;

• Evaluate and analyze with team risks and issues compromising project results and develop plans to mitigate.

• Monitor and coordinate day-to-day construction work;

• Ensuring that the ISO system requirements are addressed and met all the time

• To deliver and/or provide support and/or assist in ad-hoc tasks or any new tasks, as and when instructed by the Management from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Diploma in construction related field.

• At least 5 years working experience as Project Planner or any related field is required for this position.

• Skills Requirement: Primavera Project Planner software and Microsoft Project Planner software

• Good communication skills with the ability to interact with people across all levels

• Proficient in both written and spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia.

• Available Positions at Penang

• Candidate must be willing to work at Penang
