Job summary

A leading construction company in Malaysia is seeking a Project Manager to oversee construction projects ensuring successful delivery within timelines and budgets. Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years working experience in construction, especially high-rise projects.
  • Familiarity with legal requirements and safety practices is essential.
  • Preferably held senior managerial roles in civil/construction/structural engineering.

  • Manage construction projects from design to completion within schedule and budget.
  • Liaise with sub-contractors, consultants, and authorities to ensure compliance and progress.

Job description

  • Responsible for the effective implementation and successful completion of construction projects undertaken by the Group within schedule, cost and quality standard.
  • Need to liaise closely with sub-contractors, architects, consultants and relevant authorities and setting guidelines and provide expertise and supervision to the team.
  • To manage each phrase of the project from design to completion and ensure efficient use of resources and enhance cost-effectiveness.
  • To oversee the entire process and manage all project’s operational and administration procedures.
  • Need to provide direction in construction planning, coordinate works with sub-contractors, client and consultants to ensure overall progress based on schedule of works.
  • To control and monitor work progress and ensure work quality.
  • To do project planning, quality control planning and risk management for project.
  • To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the Superior


Job Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Quantity Surveying or related fields.
  • Min 5 years working experience and experience in the construction of high rise and etc.
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, English.
  • Preferably Senior Managers specializing in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
  • Full-Time position(s) available.
  • Familiar with legal requirements and knowledgeable in environmental, safety and health practices.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated person and able to work independently.
  • Able to liaise with clients, consultants and authorities.
  • Able to work under pressure and long hours.
  • Computer literate.
