Job description

To assist the PMO Director, Project Management in coordinating and ensuring the successful implementation of assigned projects by appointed vendors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the PMO Director, Project Management in coordinating with other departments to secure resources needed for projects under his supervision.
  • Understand customer needs to achieve project goals and secure high customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in project meetings with various customers.
  • Assist the PMO Director in scheduling implementation to ensure smooth project flow.
  • Assist in delivering set profit margins for projects.
  • Maintain good relationships with customers and other Vertiv divisions.
  • Coordinate all M&E services efficiently at the site.
  • Supervise, motivate, and develop project team members for continuous improvement and performance.
  • Ensure high standards and quality of all installations from P.O. to receipt of payment.
  • Attend progress meetings and understand customer requirements.
  • Inform customers about project progress.
  • Provide satisfactory service to maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in planning implementation schedules and human resource allocation to ensure projects are completed within budget and timeframes.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A degree in Engineering or equivalent with 7-10 years of experience in enterprise and IT industry, especially in project management for data center site preparation.
  • Strong knowledge of project management techniques and good communication skills.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both spoken and written.
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, and customer-focused.
